This allows you to see the ram/rom tests anyway, which is better than an invisible startup. Added a kludge to use the right palette for the text layer in LE2, i haven't checked, but I wonder if this could also be related to internal defaults for the mixer chip which the game doesn't change. LE2 doesn't turn it on until after the test screens, which would seem to indicate that the register should default to on, otherwise they're always invisible. 0.137u1: Improved text layer in Lethal Enforcers II : Set display enable to be ON by default. Do - Cleaned up and added the instruction card for Lethal Enforcers II thanks to Vintage Arcade for loaning it out for scanning. 0.147u4: Tafoid fixed Lethal Enforcers II duplicated input. 0.155: Alex Jackson fixed gfx2 rom loading. If you got to a certain point without getting shot, the game ramps up the reaction time to a ridicules degree and even throws in a new enemy or two that you are not expecting (with impossibly fast reaction times). I don't care what anyone says, this game's difficulty level is absurd, and it is also dependent on how good you are. ![]() I exceeded it on my first try and I figured 'sweet! Let me buckle down on this one and finish the whole game!' But after just 1 hour I figured that this game is actually impossible to finish on one credit. ![]() OK so after I finished Sunset Riders, I remembered this game from my childhood and I remember being somewhat descent at it (I did make it to the third level on one coin a few times) so I looked up what the current record was and tried out a playtest session. This is a Single Player ONLY variation! Continues are NOT allowed! Special Rules: The above are the default internal settings for this title and need not be changed.
